The Taliban’s Ministry of Refugees and Returnees wrote in a statement posted in X that more than 2,500 migrants have entered the country from Iran “optionally and forcibly” in the past two days.
These immigrants were voluntarily and forcibly deported from Iran on the dates of 31 Hamal and 1 Thor and entered the country from the Islamic border of Herat Fort.
At the same time, this ministry has written in another newsletter that nearly 700 Afghan immigrants were “forced” deported from Pakistan and returned to the country in one day.
The Taliban’s Ministry of Migration has said that 673 migrants were deported from Pakistan yesterday (Sunday, 2 Thor).
According to this newsletter, these immigrants, which include 125 families, 389 of them entered Afghanistan through the Spinboldek crossing and 284 of them entered Afghanistan through the Torkham crossing.
Meanwhile, Pakistan has undertaken the second stage of “forced expulsion” of Afghan immigrants and has intensified this process.
