The United Nations says that millions of children in Afghanistan are malnourished, and that is why it is giving

food production to families that have been damaged by the floods and is speeding up.                                       The food program of this organization wrote in its report that the people of Afghanistan are suffering from food insecurity and tens of millions of people need humanitarian aid this year.

The United Nations World Food Program estimates that 23.7 million people in Afghanistan will need humanitarian aid in 2024.

The report also says that due to heavy rains last month, the region was flooded across the country.

The World Food Program says it has activated its emergency plan in response to the situation and is distributing energy-packed biscuits to affected families as part of the immediate response.

The report further states that food rationing will begin after the number of affected families is determined.
In addition, the UN Food and Agriculture Organization says it has helped more than 660,000 returnees since Pakistan began expelling migrants in November.
