Tamdon TV announced that the Ministry of Justice of the Taliban has postponed the suspension of the broadcasts of this private media until Saturday.
A delegation from the Taliban-run justice ministry entered the offices of Tamadon TV in Kabul on Thursday afternoon.
Tamadon TV announced that its broadcasts might be halted within hours.
At the same time, the AJSO has called this action “another attack” on Afghan media in a statement.
An announcement of this organization states: “The current rulers in all provinces have commissions that even monitor the daily programs of the media. These actions are a clear violation of media freedom, and we strongly condemn it.”
Taliban has not yet commented on the incident.
This follows the Taliban’s earlier actions of halting broadcasts of Barya and Noor TV stations.
