On Tuesday, December 3, dozens of female students were denied entry to health education centers and sent home by the Taliban. Witnesses reported that the girls, unable to attend their classes, left the centers in tears.
This prohibition follows an order issued by the Taliban leader a day earlier, mandating the closure of all health education centers to girls and barring them from attending classes.
The Taliban’s decision has sparked widespread outrage and protests. Human rights activists and international organizations have condemned the move as a blatant violation of women’s rights and are calling for the immediate lifting of these restrictions.
