Nairobi Court Approves Extradition of Former Afghan MP Zaher Qadir to the U.S.
A court in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya, has just approved the extradition of Zaher Qadir, former Deputy Speaker of Afghanistan’s House of Representatives, to the United States.
Mr. Qadir’s lawyer stated that they intend to file an appeal within the next 14 days and will request the court to suspend the extradition process until the appeal is officially submitted and reviewed.
