Seven barbers from Pakistan’s Punjab province were shot dead by unknown gunmen while they were sleeping in their residential quarters near Gwadar Port in Balochistan province. One individual was injured in the attack.

Unknown gunmen opened fire and killed seven workers early on Thursday while they were sleeping in their residential quarters near Gwadar Port in Pakistan’s Balochistan province.

The victims belonged to Punjab, Pakistan’s most populous province, and worked at a barber shop in Surbandar, according to a report from The Dawn. The shooting, which also injured one individual, occurred near the Fish Harbour jetty in the Surbandar area.
