The United Nations said today that floods in northern Afghanistan have killed more than 200 people in just one province.
The International Office of Migration of the United Nations, IOM, told AFP news agency that on Friday, after heavy rain and flooding in Baghlan province, in addition to the loss of life, more than 200 thousand houses were destroyed and destroyed.
Recent floods in various parts of Afghanistan, including western and southern provinces in the past three months have caused heavy casualties as well as severe damages to people’s properties.
